27 Weeks

•How far along?: 27 Weeks! 13 weeks to go!

•How big is baby?: About 15 inches and 2 pounds! Baby girl is getting big!

•Stretch marks?: Nothing too serious......yet anyway.

•Maternity clothes?: Yep, almost everything.

•Sleep?: It's been good lately, but I don't know how long it will last. Got to enjoy it while I can :)

•Food cravings?: Coke, the kind you drink, not the kind you "smell"

•Gender?: Girly bits.

•Movement?: Quite frequently, I love it! It keeps my mind at ease.

•Labor signs?: Nope. :)

•Belly button in or out?: Still in, but barely.

•What I miss: My pre pregnancy body, peppermint white chocolate mocha lattes, coffee in general, alcohol.....

•Milestone: Technically I've entered the 3rd trimester, but I'll hold off celebrating until next week.

13 weeks left people! This is a huge deal! Technically I'll be full term at 37 weeks so I could have a healthy baby in as little as 10 weeks! (which I'm secretly hoping for) I really don't want to be pregnant for the whole 40 weeks. I can only imagine how miserable I'll be.

Double Digits

How far along?: 26 weeks. 98 days left! Double digits baby!!!

•Stretch marks?: Nothing too serious, I've done lots of research on BioOil and will certainly be buying some of that shit my next trip to walmart.

•Maternity clothes?: Yup. All of them. With the exception of a shirt or two, oh, and undies! <3

•Sleep?: Its been great for the last week, I'm kind of surprised. It was terrible for a while, with getting up every hour on the hour to piss.

•Food cravings?: Caffeine. Ice.

•Gender?: Girly bits.

•Movement?: Yup! And I love it. She did have a pattern but thats gone out the window now, she moves quite often, and it makes me happy.

•Labor signs?: None.

•Belly button in or out?: Still in, but barely.

•What I miss: My pre pregnancy body

•Milestone: We've made it to double digits, 98 days left! Thats pretty awesome! I think I'm done counting down the days, time seems to go by faster when I don't.
...................................................................................................................................................................................................

I have an appointment tomorrow. Last time I was there, they hadn't gotten the results of my quad screen for some reason, so hopefully they will have them tomorrow. And God willing, they will come back with great results. This is the test that checks for Downs Syndrome. Not that I'd love her any less, but everyone prays for a healthy baby. We shall see, I'm not stressing about it, I've got enough to worry about right now.

As selffish as it sounds, there are days when I wish that in the beginning, I had terrible morning sickness. Maybe I wouldn't have gained a million pounds and I'd be that cute little pregnant girl. But no, I have had the most amazing, stress-free pregnancy and for that, I'm happy. I know its only temporary, and it wont take that long to lose it after the baby gets here, but still. I miss being skinny. :( OK, pity party over. Don't judge me bitches.

15 weeks left!

•How far along?: 25 weeks!

•How big is baby?: About the size of an eggplant; 13.6-14.8 inches, 1 1/2 - 2.2 pounds...

•Maternity clothes?: Yep. Pants, shorts, shirts, dresses. I do have a few non maternity shirts I can still squeeze into, but not for long. I made the mistake of trying on some of my pre.preg shirts the other day, some of them didn't even go below my belly button.

•Stretch marks?: Little teeny tiny white ones I had pre.preg, but I think I have the beginnings of one on my tummy, I'm not happy about it, but I knew it was going to happen. This pregnancy has been too perfect to not make me suffer one way or another.

•Sleep?: Well, now Miss Ariana likes to play soccer when I decide to go to sleep. So I'm in bed, for at least 2 hours getting kicked in the bladder, thus making me get up every 20 minutes to pee, until I finally fall asleep..... I miss sleep.

•Food cravings?: Sweets.

•Labor signs?: Just Braxton Hicks. blech.

•Belly button in or out?: Definitely working its way out.

•What I miss: Peppermint white chocolate mocha lattes, my pre-preg body, sleep, not being a hormonal wreck.

•What I'm looking forward to: The arrival of my daughter!

Why is it that when I'm in bed at night and I think of things I want to start doing, I'm all for it, but then when I get up the next day, suddenly I'm not so motivated. I've always been that way, and it kind of sucks. Lets take last night for example....
I'm in bed, and I decide that I'm going to start going for walks during the day. YES! OK, I can do this. Just around the complex, or up and down the street behind us, no big deal. I blame watching Kourtney & Khloe, as Kourtney looks AMAZING just 3 measley months after giving birth, granted she worked out twice a day, going to the gym, running (which I HATE) all in the Miami heat. So, I wake up this morning, remembering my decision last night, only to decide that, 1) its hot as balls outside and 2) the mexicans are out cutting our lawn, I don't want them to look at me, or attempt to speak to me. I don't care for strangers. So anyway, I didn't go for my morning walk. I feel a little defeated, maybe I can get SirChad to take me to the lake more often. I feel sick.

Dumbass me...

I was an idiot yesterday, and paid for it last night. The only craving I've really had for my entire pregnancy thus far, is soda. Before getting KU I didn't even drink it. The only carbonated bevs I drank were beer (i miss you) and sugar-free redbulls (i love you). Now some days I drink 2 cans of pepsi a day. And I love it. I'm only supposed to have limited caffeine daily, so I don't usually drink more than that. ANYWAY, back to yesterday.... On any given day, I will drink between 2 and 3 liters of water, I hate doing it, but its for the baby, so I suck it up. Well yesterday, I drank my usual 2 cans of pepsi, but only had about a liter of water. BIG mistake. When I went to bed I was having the worst Braxton Hicks contractions everrr. I felt like shit all night, all because I didn't drink enough water. So this morning I woke up and even before eating breakfast, I downed 1 liter of water. And now, 2 hours later I've almost had 2 liters. I feel so much better and so does Fishy, shes swimming around, and kicking, and punching, and flipping, shes happy, so I'm happy.

24 Weeks... Happy Vitality day to us!

•How far along?: 24 weeks.

•How big is baby?: She is about 13 1/2 inches, and a pound and a 1/2

•Maternity clothes?: Yep. Pants, shorts, shirts, dresses. I do have a few non maternity shirts I can still squeeze into, but not for long. I have a few band t's that I used to wear, now I can only wear them around the house because the bottom of my belly sticks out.

•Stretch marks?: Just ones I had pre-pregnancy, I don't mind those though, they're not bad! :)

•Sleep?: Not so well last night, got up 5 times to pee. 5!!!!

•Food cravings?: ummm....nothing really.

•Labor signs?: Nope!

•Belly button in or out?: Definitely working its way out.

•What I miss: Peppermint white chocolate mocha lattes, my pre-preg body.

•What I'm looking forward to: My baby shower, getting our place ready for baby, and of course her getting here!!

Yesterday was a very productive day for me and little one. I did 4 loads of laundry, and cleaned our place. Now, when I say "cleaned" I mean I got out the rubber gloves, and scrubbie pad and went to town. Kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, living room, I cleaned out some drawers of clothes that don't 'currently' fit me, it took all day, but its so worth it today, because I don't have to do anything! :)
Today is our Vitality Day, this means, if for some reason I were to go into labor, the doctors/nurses would take every measure to make sure she made it! This makes me very happy, but I'd still like it if she stayed in there and continued baking for the next 16 weeks or so! Wow, 16 weeks.....thats all thats left! Its hard to believe. I'm so excited!! Aren't you?!

Gah! I am so tired!

After getting 11 hours of sleep last night, I can NOT stop yawning today. I am so effing tired, I have no idea why. Anyway...

Yesterday was awesome. As I'm sure you know, It was the 4th of July. We spent the morning/ early afternoon watching My Girl and then Nick Swardson (?) on comedy central. That fucker is hilarious. Then we went over to Vann and Jessica's. They had an awesome get together which included all of our buddies, and we spent the next 6 hours swimming, and eating delicious BBQ made by master chef Tom Greene. One word to describe his food.....YUM. I ate until I was miserably full, as I always do when he cooks for us. Then we swam in the rain, until is got a little ridiculous and we decided to get out. After drying off, changing clothes, and watching a little bit of Grease, it stopped raining and we jumped back in the pool. For some reason Chad and Wes were anti-swimming yesterday, but their loss, we had a blast. Then it was time for fireworks. We were able to see some while we were still in the pool, our view would have been better if there wasn't a big ass tree in the way, but we got the picture. Then we got out, did (?) some sparklers and a few little fireworks in the street, and it was time to go home. I was so exhausted by the time we got home, I could have passed out immediately, but stayed up until 11:30 and then woke up today at 10:30. Needless to say, yesterday was a good day.

Wait, what am I doing.....this is supposed to be a pregnancy blog...... I finally got a maternity bathing suit hand-me-down from Cari, it fits lovely, aside from my belly hanging out a bit, but no biggie. Then after lunch Lindsey got to feel my little Fishy kick! She freaked out a little, it was funny. Other than that though, nothing new with my little one. 115 days to go. <3

•Stretch marks?: No! I've been lucky so far!

•Sleep?: Not so well last night....see below.

•Food cravings?: Pretzel M&M's please!!!!!

Pregnancy comes with many surprises. Last night I got a new one. My ribs are expanding. Yes, that's right, they're EXPANDING. It is not a pleasant feeling. I was in bed last night trying to fall asleep, but couldn't because I was dealing with what I can only explain as "growing pains". Hopefully this doesn't last too long, because its not nice. :(
