Baby update!

No, I'm not pregnant. Don't freak out.

When I started this blog, I had every intention of making it all about baby, but somewhere along the way it became a "life" blog. So, here we go....

In 20 days she will be 11 months. I can't believe how fast time has flown by. Everyone said it would, but whoa.
She weighs about 23(ish)lbs and is 27(ish)in long. Honestly it's been a while since her last check up and I don't remember exactly.

She wears size 4 diapers. Pampers to be exact. We started with huggies, but Pampers don't leak overnight.

She wears 6-9 and 12 month clothes, it depends on the brand and style.
She wears 12 month footed jammies, any others are too short. :)

She is a master crawler and can stand unassisted for nearly a minute at a time.

She loves mac and cheese, and all of Earth's Best baby foods (veggies and fruits)

Pear juice is her favorite <3

She drinks about 4 or so bottles a day, and it too lazy to hold it herself. She can, but wont. :: eye roll ::
Same goes with the sippy cup.

She says mama, dada, and baba, and shakes her head "no".

She loves technology (the real stuff, not the toys) She prefers my cell phone over hers....silly girl.

And last but not least she has 4 teeth, and 3 more on the brink of popping through. Both bottom front, top left and top left incisor.

More to come :)

Oh hai.

Oy.

I feel like I haven't blogged in months! GAH!

So, lets update, shall we......

This week was awesome. Worked regularly Monday & Tuesday, left work at 10 on Wednesday, and then worked regularly yesterday and today. This week flew by....

Maybe that's because I SAW BRITNEY SPEARS!!!!!!!!!! Yes I did, yes I did (somebody please tell him who the eff I is) saw Nicki Minaj too. Jealous? It was awesome. I'd upload some of my videos buuuuuut I'm kind of screaming like a crazy teen-aged fan  and I don't think you'd appreciate that. We had amazing seats, they were great, then we got upgraded to club level (vip bitches) after the chick sitting next to us barfed. Nope, I'm not lying, it really happened. Before Britney even came on stage! Luckily for her, otherwise I would have LOST MY MIND. I would have strangled her. But it all worked out. Yay for us. :)
Beer was $10 by the way. FOR ONE! One beer, and they had crappy choices...um not everyone likes bud light! clASSy.

Anyway, that day ranked up there with the likes of my wedding and the birth of my child <3
.....................................................................................

My kiddo also had her 9 month well baby check up!
Some stats.....
21lbs
27in long
She also started crawling. FINALLY. I was worried she would skip straight to walking, but nope! We're mobile people! Move over!!

All in all, it's been a damn good week. I'd tell you more but I'm starving and dinner's here!!!

It's that time again

That's right folks....

We're moving.

I doubt I've mentioned it in previous posts, but... I hate moving.
I don't hate a lot of things. You shouldn't hate. We don't need that floating around in the universe. (famous Phoebe quote from pilot episode of Friends ((don't hate...HA, it works two ways)) )
However, moving tops the not as short as it should be list.

Packing, cleaning, unpacking, putting away...ugh. I'd really rather not.
I'm leaving work early tomorrow so I can come home and do the mountain of laundry we've piled up over the last week. Which is something else on my "Hate List."
It's not so much the doing laundry part, mainly the putting away that sucks... but it's got to be done...

Annnnnyway.
We are moving to another apartment complex. It's right next to where we live now, like, I could literally throw a rock and hit our new apartment. (In case you're wondering, we will be living in an apartment for at least the next 4 years so we can save up for a house. Will we stay in Floria? I don't know! We'll see!)
Our current place is a 730 sq ft one bedroom, one bathroom apartment. Our new place is two bedrooms, two bathrooms and is1250 sq ft.
I'm super excited for baby A to have her own room. I'm really looking forward to decorating it.
Think, gray, pink and brown...pictures to come, you'll have to wait and see.

Since Easter will be our first holiday in our new place....here is a little giveaway from a fellow blogger....
Go here for all the details.... Good luck!

I promise to be a better blogger from now on....maybe I'll squeeze in 2 a week instead of just one.....
but don't hold me to it ;)

Enjoy your weekend.

4 Months

Today was A's 4 month check-up. This included the usual, height, weight, head circumference, joint check, how she's doing with her milestones and of course, vaccinations.

The first nurse we saw told us she would be having 4 or 5 shots. Seriously?! That is too much for one day, but we were going to suck it up, and get over it.

Babes weighed in at a whopping 15.9 1/2 pounds, and 24 inches long. She is doing everything she should be doing at 4 months. Rolling over, laughing, "talking", smiling, grabbing toys, eating 4-6oz at a time, enjoying some solids (organic apples, pears and sweet potatoes) and trying to sit up on her own.

Luckily she only ended up getting 2 shots and an oral vaccination, (which is what it was supposed to be, damn nurse freaking me out for no reason) thank goodness. She did pretty well, much  better than last time. I looked up some suggestions to make it a little easier for both of us from Dr. Google, and read about giving her a little sugar water just before the injections, so we did that, I also brought her pacifier (which she still will not have anything to do with) and a couple of her toys that play music and flash lights, anything to keep her distracted. I had to hold her arms down and hold the toy in front of her face as the (mean ol' heartless) nurse stabbed my pretty baby in each thigh. The initial stick surprised her, and she cried. But once it was over and I picked her up for some snuggling she was fine. By the time we left the parking lot, she was out like a light. She stayed that way (in her carseat) for the next hour. Then she woke up super needy and whiny, so I gave her lots of lovin' and she went back to sleep for a while.

She is doing so much better compared to her 2 month shots, I'm not sure what exactly it was that helped her this time so I guess we'll be doing all of this over again in May for her 6 month vaccinations.

My little baby is growing up so fast!
