84

I always have the hardest time thinking of an opening line, and a title.
That made it pretty easy. The title is my number of posts.
Maybe I'll start a trend...doubt it. Meh.

Whats been going on here, you ask?
A whole lot of nothing exciting really.

I went back to working full-time. Super excited about the amount of moolah the Mr. and I will have, that's definitely a plus. I did have to take the babe back to the nanny for those last 2 days of the week though. I miss our Thursday/Friday mommy/daughter days. And not having to do 4 loads of laundry all in one day. But whater ya gunna do?

Speaking of, the babe is rolling all over the place (not sure if I had mentioned that recently or not.) She is also getting up on her knees when she is on her tummy, so she should be crawling soon! How crazy is that? She is growing up so fast. She's almost 5 months old, almost half of a year old....and I still don't have a theme picked out for her 1st birthday bash! Yes, I am going to be one of those slightly crazy and obsessed moms who is going to throw a ridiculous bash for her child that they wont even remember (except for the ridiculously insane amount of pictures) If only I knew more kids her age to invite.....we'll figure something out.

We're moving 2 weeks from Saturday (I just looked at a calendar and saw that it is in fact 2 weeks, holy shit) I'm ready to have a large place. Our current space is very small, and we're quickly outgrowing it. I'm also very excited to do the babe's nursery! CanNotWait for that!

The hubs bought the new Xbox last night. ::eyeroll::
But also the KINECT! Woot! BItches! HAH! That, I'm excited about (can ya tell?!) Buh bye remaining baby weight, hello pre-pregnancy clothes, soon enough, with all of the kinect exercising I'll be doing. ;)

Things are really good right now, and I'm very happy.
See you tomorrow with a picture

Giraffe farts make her laugh..

Mid Week Update

This week has been pretty fantastic. It flew by. I know what you're thinking, "It's only Thursday!" and you're right, it is only Thursday, but Wednesday is my Friday at work. So today is Saturday, for me anyway.
The plan for today is, (because I know you're dying to know) laundry, clean the house, hope Brighthouse comes on time, and get ready for a Partylite party at 7. The hubs is out of town working today, so he wont be home until almost 9 tonight, so it's just me and the babe. Now, let me break this down for ya:

Laundry, how I hate thee. Yes, I do hate it, but alas, it must be done. Luckily I started last night, so I'm half way done! ::huge grin::

Clean, clean, clean: bathroom, kitchen, living room, vacuum, cat box...etc. etc. etc.

Brighthouse! After having (this pain in the ass company) for nearly a year, we are finally getting a DVR, which the Mr. couldn't care less about, but I am beyond excited. This means, of course, that I can record all of the shows that he refuses to watch, and enjoy them while he's not here! Hello Teen Mom 2, Pretty Little Liars, and Secret Life! ALSO! We're getting internet through them! Thank You Jesus! We have been enjoying (not really) free Wifi thanks to our apartment community, but because it's free, everyone uses it, SO it's suuuuuuuper slow. I tried to upload a video to facebook last week, it said it would be complete in 10 hours. No, I'm not kidding. So needless to say, I'm very excited.

Partylite party tonight. My boss is throwing it, and I told her I would go before we knew the hubs would be out of town, so I told her I would have the babe, and didn't want to be a party crasher that brings a baby. She said no worries, they want to see the babe, so we're going. It'll be fine. Fingers crossed anyway.

Of all of the things going on today, I will, of course, be playing with the babe in between all of it! I didn't want you to think I was just going to throw her in front of the TV and forget about her. (haha)

Tomorrow, all of the girls at work have been bugging me to bring the babe up there so they can see her and love on her, so I figured what the hell, I can pick up my check stub while I'm there, so I'll kill 2 birds with one stone.

I have no idea what is going on this weekend, hopefully something entertaining. I'll update if I find it to be worthy of a blog entry.

Have a good weekend!

4 Months

Today was A's 4 month check-up. This included the usual, height, weight, head circumference, joint check, how she's doing with her milestones and of course, vaccinations.

The first nurse we saw told us she would be having 4 or 5 shots. Seriously?! That is too much for one day, but we were going to suck it up, and get over it.

Babes weighed in at a whopping 15.9 1/2 pounds, and 24 inches long. She is doing everything she should be doing at 4 months. Rolling over, laughing, "talking", smiling, grabbing toys, eating 4-6oz at a time, enjoying some solids (organic apples, pears and sweet potatoes) and trying to sit up on her own.

Luckily she only ended up getting 2 shots and an oral vaccination, (which is what it was supposed to be, damn nurse freaking me out for no reason) thank goodness. She did pretty well, much  better than last time. I looked up some suggestions to make it a little easier for both of us from Dr. Google, and read about giving her a little sugar water just before the injections, so we did that, I also brought her pacifier (which she still will not have anything to do with) and a couple of her toys that play music and flash lights, anything to keep her distracted. I had to hold her arms down and hold the toy in front of her face as the (mean ol' heartless) nurse stabbed my pretty baby in each thigh. The initial stick surprised her, and she cried. But once it was over and I picked her up for some snuggling she was fine. By the time we left the parking lot, she was out like a light. She stayed that way (in her carseat) for the next hour. Then she woke up super needy and whiny, so I gave her lots of lovin' and she went back to sleep for a while.

She is doing so much better compared to her 2 month shots, I'm not sure what exactly it was that helped her this time so I guess we'll be doing all of this over again in May for her 6 month vaccinations.

My little baby is growing up so fast!
